Miriam was born and raised on the southside of Indianapolis. In 2007, she graduated from Butler University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences cum laude and a minor in Political Science. Miriam received her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis in 2010.

Miriam is an associate at Thomasson, Thomasson, Long & Guthrie, P.C. and practices in the areas of domestic relations, medical malpractice, personal injury, criminal defense and general civil litigation. She also has an interest in the emerging field of animal law. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Bartholomew County Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. She is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana and before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Miriam is a former intern for a U.S. Senator and was named a Top 100 Student at Butler University. Throughout law school she completed internships and clerkships with Legal Aid, a food safety non-profit organization, and a public interest firm in Washington D.C. In law school she was active in the Client Counseling Competition, including serving on its Board and was an officer in the Animal Law Society.

With offices conveniently located in Columbus, Indiana, Thomasson, Thomasson, Long & Guthrie, P.C. serves clients throughout  South Central Indiana, especially Bartholomew County, Jackson County, Jennings County and Decatur County, including the towns  of Columbus, Seymour, North Vernon, Nashville, Franklin, Brownstown,  Greensburg, Morgantown and Martinsville.
